David and the moth

This was so cute... David was so curious/excited about that moth on his arm. I called it a butterfly so I would not confuse him. We were leaving my bible study and found the moth on the sidewalk I went back to show David, put the moth on his arm, he was very intrigued about the moth. I hope you will get to see the video.

Homegroup Halloween party

Kid's got together dressed in their favorite costumes, doing crafts, bobbing for apples, and just having fun. The parents dressed up too. There were some cute and creative costumes. What a fun night we had.

We had a beautiful day yesterday. Because the lighting was perfect
& the temperture was mild, I decided with the help of my husband,
to take some pictures of little David. I used an old tin wash tub
from my grandmothers home in Iowa. (It brought back fond
memories of my sister and I picking up all the apples that have
fallen onto the ground and put in the tub. We then would drive
out to a farm to feed horses and pigs. ) With thoes memories I
enjoyed using the tub for the photo shoot.

While Ted was watering the garden. David was running through
the water. It was a fun family moment. Notice the brown dress
shoes on little David. Even though they did not match is outfit,
he really wanted to wear them. May 2006

I have learned that it is easier and less messy if I let
David eat without my help. He does not want any help.

Great tip: I have found it to be less messy for toddlers to slurp
their yougurt or applesauce with a straw cut in half. I save the
spoon for macaroni or mash potatoes ect. Foods that are less gooey.
